Why Didn’t I think of THAT?

Hello Ladies,
Ever feel like you just don’t have enough clothes in your closet?
Or you do, but dammit, you’ve worn everything and could really just use a change?
Unfortunately, not all of us can afford to just… do that, especially in today’s economy!
Well… I’ve recently come across Sheena Matheiken’s The Uniform Project… and I’m super jealous I didn’t think of the idea first!
Why am I obsessed with the The Uniform Project?
The slogan is “1 dress, 365 days”.
Her blog has daily pictures of her wearing the dress, but in so many different styles, using accessories and other forms of clothing (tights, skinny jeans, long billowing skirts, etc.), not only does she pull it off, but she pulls it off really, really well.
It’s the perfect example of “INSTA-FIX”for your wardrobe, while also taking the “Little Black Dress” to a whole new/different level.
AND most notably, I must add, that as well as the fact that the project feeds my need for artistic/fashion inspiration, there’s an awesome opportunity to help some children gain an education by donating to The Cause behind The Project.
(The dress should be in production later this year and proceeds from the sale of the dress will go to the charity “Akanksha’s School Project” who will put the donations towards building new schools in Mumbai and Pune, India).
So here it is, a great example of a woman, doing what she loves, spreading the love… all the while, lookin’ very pretty in a lil’ black dress.
