Palin ‘10

It is midterm election season, and I’m voting Palin.

By “midterm election season,” I mean, “halfway through the new season of Dancing with the Stars.”

And I’m all hands on deck, letting everyone I know, VOTE FOR BRISTOL PALIN.

My OTP

My OTP

She’s so cute, you guys.  She’s refreshing.  There’s the obvious “but she isn’t a star!” comment, but, let’s face it, no one on that show is ever really a star.  She’s not what Hollywood is.  She’s surrounded by tailored women who are taught to be the thinnest they can and smile the brightest and cake on the makeup, but not Bristol! She’s bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready to learn to dance.

The little Palin girl is like a carbon copy of her big sister, and if you were to put them in matching holiday sweaters, it wouldn’t even be like “ew…” because it would be so damn adorable.

And don’t even get me started on my new favorite couple: Bristol and her dancing partner who I think is named Mark, and we will refer to as Mark from here on out.  Sure they’re not really dating, but I want them to so bad.  I don’t ever promote celebrity relationships (unless they’re already together and adorable, I’m looking at you, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett), but I’m pushing for this one.

First, FIRST, he went home with Bristol to visit her family in Alaska.  You guys, Sarah Palin was likeable.  She’s super proud of Bristol and is impressed by how well she’s been doing and just wants her kids to be happy and (sigh).  Then, THEN, he went to wherever Bristol is living with her baby to practice dancing with her. And when they were done dancing, he was like, “do you think you’re mom’s a good dancer?” and baby was like, “THE BEST!” and then they high fived.

He brings out the best in Bristol and makes it fun for her and will defend her dancing to the bitter end.

As will I.  I know how hard it is to give into this.  I don’t want Sarah Palin ever running anything ever.  But I cannot stop gushing over this.  I have a raging girl crush on Bristol.
