Perhaps Living Really Isn’t Killing Me.
Some people believe the moment you are born, you start to die; I happen to be one of those people. I also happen to believe imminent death is motivation enough to live everyday to the fullest—I only regret the things I have not done.
There are lots of excuses only a Google search away to hinder you from what you want. The economy seems to be a popular one these days. A desire to live, to experience what the world has to offer, however, should outweigh your excuses tenfold. As a twenty-something, both you and I have opportunities afforded to us by just existing. Being a twenty-something is not only a reason to be who you want to be, but also a substantial positive attribute to your personality.
So if you have the choice between adventure and being banal, why don’t you try giving in to your deepest desires? Try something new; you actually might be surprised. Maybe ordering a triple shot soy extra caramel, caramel macchiato tomorrow morning, rather than the usual, might be worth those extra cents upgrading from your vanilla latte.
Contemplate this: How will you live tomorrow? What will your choices say about who you are?
